“That socialism has displaced liberalism as the doctrine held by the great majority of progressives does not simply mean that people had forgotten the warnings of the great liberal thinkers of the past about the consequences of collectivism. It has happened because they were persuaded of the very opposite of what these men had predicted. The extraordinary thing is that the same socialism that was not only early recognized as the gravest threat to freedom, but quite openly began as a reaction against the liberalism of the French Revolution, gained general acceptance under the flag of liberty. It is rarely remembered now that socialism in its beginnings was frankly authoritarian. The French writers who laid the foundation of modern socialism had no doubt that their ideas could be put into practice only by a strong dictatorial government. To them socialism meant an attempt to ‘terminate the revolution’ by a deliberate reorganization of society on hierarchical lines and by the imposition of a coercive ‘SPIRITUAL POWER’. Where freedom was concerned, the founders of socialism made no bones about their intentions. Freedom of thought they regarded as the root-evil of nineteenth-century society, and the first of modern planners, Saint-Simon, even predicted that those who did not obey his proposed planning boards would be ‘treated as cattle.’

That’s how a coworker of Saul Alinsky described the philosophy of the famous radical community organizer in Chicago. Alinsky is the author of the book RULES FOR RADICALS, which he dedicated to ‘Lucifer… the first radical..who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom.”
Alinsky died in 1976, but his handbook is still followed by the radical left in their quest to fundamentally transform America….

Stir up discontent. Use problems. Create guilt.
Alinsky made no secret of the fact he was a committed Marxist who believed that the conflict between the oppressed and the oppressor must be continual, unending, and without a satisfactory resolution – unless, of course, there is a revolution that brings about the ‘equalities” of Marxist state. He spoke of what could be described as ‘the paradise of communism’.”

“Much of the public has unquestioningly embraced the mantra “Diversity is Strength.” Then again, in George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984, much of the public also blindly accepted oxymoronic slogans such as “WAR IS PEACE” and “FREEDOM IS SLAVERY.” Throughout history, the general public has been little more than a giant hardware store full of tools. A Google Images search of the word “diversity” shows an uninterrupted syrupy stream of rainbows and smiling faces and clasped hands, a global clog dance where everyone gets along because that’s naturally what occurs whenever you cram people of different continental origins, religions, languages, and ideologies together in the same space…right?
According to the Online Etymology Dictionary, the word “diversity” only acquired a positive connotation regarding things such as race and gender in 1992. Prior to that, the word was derived from the French word diversité, which signified less cheery synonyms such as “wickedness” and “perversity” and the ancient Latin word diversitatem, which connoted
“contradiction and disagreement.” Note the similarity between the words “diversity” and “division,” the latter of which is derived from “divide.” Fifteenth-century Italian political strategist Niccolò Machiavelli posited a basic rule of politics: “divide et impera,” which in English is most often translated as “divide and conquer.” India is often said to be the most diverse country on Earth. And diversity worked so well there that its eastern and western provinces split off into Pakistan and Bangladesh amid oceans of blood.
According to the map, Africa is the most ethnically diverse continent on Earth, yet it continues to eat itself alive due to ongoing tribal conflicts that may have been exploited by colonialists but that existed long before Europeans ever set foot in Africa and have persisted—and even escalated—once the colonialists began their slow retreat. European history is replete with homicidal group conflicts that may on their surface appear to have been rooted in religion or ideology but were more deeply entwined with things such as cultural, linguistic, and phenotypical differences. For all the badmouthing that the American South gets for being “racist,” it is no coincidence that it has always been the least uniformly white part of the United States. For racism to exist at all, you sort of need more than one race to get the fire started. So rather than the rainbow fantasies and bubblegum dreams that are endlessly peddled by the world’s power-hungry would-be central planners, the historical record tends to show that instead of harmony, ethnic diversity leads to ethnic conflict. To blindly chant “celebrate diversity” is akin to chanting “celebrate conflict.”
Today, the word equality is applied to every social cause imaginable.
We have:
• Marriage equality (same-sex-marriage)
• Economic equality (socialism)
• Reproductive equality (abortion)
• Healthcare equality (free-socialized healthcare)
• Gender equality (legal protection for trans persons)
• Racial equality (Black Lives Matter)

Responsible Christians should be ready to respond and converse with both respect and grace, as well as biblical teaching.” “Here are some reasons the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) movement is destructive to our quest for better race relations and a return to sexual sanity.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion insists that Deference to Certain Groups is more important than competency of merit.
Briefly, this trilogy (DEI) seeks to give preferential treatment to those who belong to a certain class, race, or sexual identity, regardless of their competency. People are being rewarded on the basis of their group identity rather than their qualifications. Imagine you are a football coach who is asked to form a team with 54 players on the roster. And you’re required to do this according to the ideologically driven DEI principles. Among the players, 17 must be black, 19 white, 9 Hispanic, 7 Asian, and 2 have to be individuals who were born biologically as females but consider themselves as transgender and identify as males. DEI demands these results, and fans say they will not come to a game unless there is a player on the field that looks or identifies like they do. Actually, there should be no objection to forming such a football team as long as winning isn’t the objective. If your goal is DEI, you might even see losing a game as proof that you are WOKE, or that you are in line with the official cultural narratives. At least you will not be accused of insensitivity to minorities. Unless, of course, some groups insist on greater representation.” “The same holds for the military as a whole. Acting defense secretary Chris Miller signed a memo entitled ‘Actions to Improve Racial and Ethnic Diversity and Inclusion in the U.S. Military.” The memo states that standards may be lowered to make room for DEI considerations. Recommendation 4 reads, ‘Remove Aptitude Test Barriers That Adversely Impact Diversity.’ In other words, winning or even seeking the best outcome may no longer be the primary goal. Once again, the merit and competency have to be removed to make way for an ideology that requires predetermined quotas. Rod Dreher says it well; ‘Equity means to achieve an ideologically correct result.’

“In 2021, the governor of Oregon “suspended a requirement for students to demonstrate reading, writing and math proficiency in order to receive a high school diploma.” This was done in the name of equity. The governor’s office said that the new standard for graduation would aid the state’s ‘Black, Latina, Latinx, Indigenous, Asian, Pacific Islanders, Tribal, and students of color.’ Let’s stop and ask; What message does this send to minorities? One of a healthy challenge, or one of demoralization?
